Cari amici,
non vi nascondo che molte volte nel corso di questi lunghi anni di lavoro per Namastè, oppressa dalla fatica, fisica e morale, della continua lotta non solo contro la miseria e l’ignoranza, ma anche contro politici corrotti, “colleghi” invidiosi o meschini, collaboratori indolenti o egoisti nonché beneficiari ingrati ed orgogliosamente chiusi al vero rapporto umano, mi sono chiesta se continuare in questo percorso ad ostacoli o arrendermi e dedicare le mie energie alla mia famiglia o ad altre attività “profittevoli”.
In breve, mi sono spesso chiesta : “Ma chi me lo fa fare?”. Ed ecco la risposta…
Cara Valeria, nostra amata insegnante,
siamo un gruppo di “ragazzi Namastè” e ora lavoriamo in varie parti della regione del Golfo Persico; recentemente abbiamo avuto l’occasione di parlarci in videoconferenza. E` stato molto commovente: abbiamo rivissuto vecchi ricordi con te e con la tua organizzazione, il che ci ha fatto venir voglia di scriverti questa lettera.
Dobbiamo riconoscere che se siamo qui e` per merito tuo e di Namastè e te ne siamo molto grati, per l’affetto e l’amore che ci hai dato, per il cibo e l’abbigliamento che ci hai fornito e per l’ottima istruzione ed educazione che ci hai permesso di ricevere. Non sappiamo veramente come esprimerti i nostri sentimenti. La gente in questo mondo e` sempre più egoista e cattiva, ed e` sempre più difficile trovare qualcuno di cuore come te. A volte quando ci confrontiamo con i nostri attuali amici e colleghi, ci rendiamo conto di avere ricevuto qualcosa in più degli altri.
Siamo consapevoli che questa lettera di ringraziamento non e` abbastanza per esprimere i nostri sentimenti, per cui ti chiediamo di poter dare il nostro aiuto a Namastè in modo da poter restituire quello che tu ci hai dato. Stiamo quindi pensando di dedicare i nostri sforzi all’educazione di una bambina, finanziando completamente le sue spese scolastiche, il suo abbigliamento e tutto ciò che serve ad una vita serena dentro Namastè.
Se tu ci risponderai che accetti la nostra decisione, faremo i passi successivi.

Dear Our beloved Valeria Teacher,
We are a group of Ex Namaste Children working in different part of the Gulf region; recently we had an opportunity to gather ourselves through online video conference. It was awesome experience; we recollect our old memories with you and your organization, which make us to write this letter to you.
We must say that we are here because of you and your organization and we are very much thankful to you for the affections and the love that you have given us, we are very much thankful to you for the food, shelters and clothing that you have given us, we are very much thankful to you for the better educations that you are given us. We don’t know how to express our feeling to you. This busy running world people are so selfish and greedy against others, we cannot find much well hearted human like you. Sometimes when we compare with our current friends and colleagues, we feel that we got something better than others.
We know that this thanking letter is not enough to express our feelings, So We having a kind request you to allow us to do social service within the Namaste Charitable Society, and we are ready to return back what you have given us. We are currently planning to concentrate on girl child educations. We will try paying her entire school fee, her clothing, and her accommodation and furthering…
Once you are happy with our decision, we can do further process.
